Mayor Greg Fischer today joined fair and affordable housing advocates in the mixed-income Park Springs subdivision to declare this week “Affordable Housing Week” in the city of Louisville – celebrating progress made, and calling on state and local leaders to continue work to expand affordable housing options.
LOUISVILLE, KY — Park Community Credit Union presented Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville with a 2016 Chevrolet truck at their recent Building Hope event. Rob Locke, Louisville Habitat CEO and Leslie Woods, Director of Construction, joined Jim Spradlin, CEO, and David Shadburne, Executive Vice President, both of Park Community Credit Union, to celebrate the truck donation and receive the keys.

Habitat has joined with HPI to transform the once abandoned and rundown Lake Louisvilla sites into a new mixed-income subdivision in eastern Jefferson County.
LOUISVILLE, KY – Nov. 16, 2018 – On Friday, Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville and Wells Fargo Advisors teamed up to celebrate the Bluegrass Complex’s 50th Habitat build in five years. The celebration included a plaque presentation commemorating the milestone and Wells Fargo Advisors’ commitment to giving back to the community. In addition to the celebration, 20 Wells Fargo Advisors team members worked on two Habitat homes in the Richmont Terrace neighborhood.
