Walk with Louisville Habitat at the Portland Festival Parade

Love a Parade? Join us!
Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville is taking part in the Portland Festival Parade and we hope you will join us! A group of Habitat homeowners, DIY workshop participants, repair recipients, staff and volunteers will really show our Portland Pride!
- Walk with us (or if you have a hard time walking, ride in a 1966 Mustang convertible.)
- Wear a new t-shirt made just for this special occasion
- Hand out prizes to kids along the route
- Connect with your Habitat family!
WHAT: Walk in the Portland Festival Parade as part of the Habitat family
DATE: Saturday, June 6
TIME: Meet at 11:00AM to begin lining up
PLACE: Family Health Center parking lot, 2215 Portland Ave
What else? The route is about 30 minutes long, concluding at the Festival grounds, 3305 Northwestern Parkway. Rather than a float, we will be walking as a group with a Habitat skid loader, an SUV donated by Ford, and a 1966 Ford Mustang convertible (We hope to win the “Cool Car” award).
We have a banner to announce our group, special t-shirts and construction aprons to wear, and a toy to give away (we hope to win the “Most Spirit” award, too!)
RSVP: Please let us know that you’ll join us by returning the form below by May 6 or emailing Maria at mprice@louisvillehabitat.org with the same information. Questions? Call Maria at 502-805-1425.
