The Store That Builds Homes.
At the ReStore, our main priority is to protect the health and safety of our donors, customers, volunteers and staff. We’re following and continuing to monitor Governor Beshear and the CDC’s guidelines.
Here are the precautions that we’re taking at the ReStore:
- At this time, our ReStore drivers will not be entering inside the donor’s home to pick-up the donated items. We ask that all donated items be placed outdoors – either on the donor’s porch or in a garage for easy access for our drivers.
- All ReStore staff and volunteers will be wearing a mask while they are working.
- We ask that all customers and donors wear a mask when they shop or when they are dropping off donated items at one of our Stores.
What’s the ReStore?
The Habitat ReStore is a non-profit thrift store and donation center of gently used furniture, appliances, building materials and more. The proceeds from our two store locations are reinvested into our mission to help local families build stable, affordable housing in partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville. This is why we call the Habitat ReStore the store that builds homes!
When you shop at the ReStore, you’re getting a great deal – all merchandise is sold at a fraction of retail prices. And the proceeds are helping us build more Habitat homes!
What Can You Buy and Donate at the ReStore?

Accepting donated items that we can easily sell contributes to our mission to support Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville’s vision of a world – and a city – where everyone has a decent place to live.
