Become a Homebuyer Advocate

Once you have settled into your home, you become part of our Habitat family. There are meaningful ways to stay connected and support new homebuyers.

  • Become a Homeowner Advocate: Share what you’ve learned. Walk alongside a future Habitat homeowner as they prepare for homeownership. You’ve lived it — and your experience matters.
  • Core Construction Volunteer: Build change with your own hands. Work alongside Habitat homeowners and volunteers on real builds. Your time, your skills, and your commitment matter.

When I paid off my Habitat mortgage, I knew I wanted to give back to the organization that gave me so much. To now volunteer as a Homebuyer Advocate… it’s such a blessing to help these new homebuyers navigate through their own homeownership journey.
